In compliance with Google Play Store User Data policies, Apple App Store guidelines, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the India Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), we provide simple, accessible mechanisms for you to delete your account and all associated personal data at any time.
2. Method 1: In-App Self-Service Deletion (Recommended)
If you have the Levit Member App or Levit Partner App installed on your mobile device, you can delete your account immediately without waiting for manual support review:
- 1Open the App: Launch the Levit Member App or Levit Partner App and sign in to your account.
- 2Go to Profile: Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- 3Select Account Security: Tap Account Settings or Account Security.
- 4Initiate Deletion: Scroll down to the danger zone and tap Delete Account.
- 5Verify Identity: Enter your password or verify the one-time passcode (OTP) dispatched to your registered mobile number or email.
- 6Confirm: Tap Confirm Permanent Deletion. Your active authentication session will be revoked immediately, and the automated database purge will execute.
3. Method 2: Online Deletion Request (If App is Uninstalled)

4. Categories of Data Permanently Deleted
Upon validating your identity, our automated purge scripts completely and permanently delete the following data categories:
Identity & Authentication
Full name, display name, registered phone number, email address, password hashes, and Google OAuth subject mappings.
Workout & Fitness History
All logged workout sessions, sets, repetitions, weights, custom routines, exercise history, and personal bests.
Streaks & Milestones
Consistency streak counters, achievement badges, challenge entries, community leaderboard rankings, and workout notes.
Device Caches & Sessions
All active JWT/bearer auth tokens, refresh cookies, push notification tokens, and local encrypted SQLite caches.
5. Data Retained Under Statutory Legal Obligations
Global data privacy frameworks (including GDPR Article 17(3) and the India DPDP Act) recognize that personal erasure is subject to statutory corporate, tax, and regulatory compliance obligations. The following limited data cannot be deleted immediately:
Statutory Financial & Tax Invoices (5 to 7 Year Retention)
Invoices, tax summaries, payment receipts, and GST/VAT transaction records generated during gym operations must be retained for the statutory period mandated by applicable corporate and revenue tax laws.
6. Deletion Timeline and Finality
- Instant Access Revocation: Your login tokens, sessions, and active privileges are terminated immediately upon confirmation.
- Primary Database Scrubbing: Your profile and workout logs are wiped from primary databases within 30 calendar days.
- Backup Overwrite: Residual entries in encrypted, immutable disaster-recovery backups are naturally overwritten within standard 90-day backup rotation cycles.
- Final & Irreversible: Once confirmed and executed, account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Your workout logs, consistency streaks, and membership associations cannot be restored.
